Sub-2mm Precision Knives
The Sub-2mm series is offered in Clear Corneal designs of 1.3mm (72-1361) and 1.6mm (72-1661) maximum widths, featuring tapered facets to deliver an incision of superior self sealing wound architecture.
New IQ Cleartrap (77-1725). Three step design that can create incisions of 1.7mm and 2.2mm for bi manual or coaxial micro phaco and the implantaion incision for many preloaded foldable IOL injectors. All of this can be achieved with one knife.
The ClearTrap® Sub-2mm knives feature a patented line indicator for precise wound dimensions. Sizes include 1.5mm x 1.7mm (75-1517), 1.5mm x 2.0mm (75-1520), and 1.7mm x 2.0mm (75-1720).
The Sub-2mm line also includes the Sharpoint ClearPort™ Paracentesis knives, offered in 0.6mm (78-2510), 0.8mm (78-2310), and 1.1mm (78-2010) sizes. This product family is designed to facilitate the surgeon's incision size and wound architecture preference. (U.S. Pat. No. 5,370,652 and 5,217,476)
