Sharpoint® Sub-2mm Precision Knives for Micro-Incision Cataract Surgery

The Sharpoint® Sub-2mm series of ophthalmic knives is the first full offering of incision products for the Micro-Incision Cataract Surgery technique. The Sub-2mm family of products utilize a precise proprietary process, Infinite Edge™ Technology, to manufacture incision products that result in unsurpassed sharpness and strict tolerance for consistent wound precision.

The new IQ Cleartrap (code 77-1725). Three step design that can create incisions of 1.7 and 2.2mm for bi manual or coaxial micro phaco and the implantation incision for many preloaded foldable IOL injectors. All of this with one knife.

Sharpoint® Clear Corneal Knives

Superior wound architecture - Tapered bevels are designed to bend and incise tissue, resulting in a straight incision that is more self sealing.
Blade Profile - Thinner blade is designed for minimal effect on astigmatism, and to promote re-epithelialization. Short blade length reduces risk of induced trauma.
Unique Patented Width/Depth Indicators - 1.5mm,1.75mm & 2.0mm act as visual reference when changing planes during an incision.
